- Here’s some tips and tricks to help you get the best results out of your hydrofacial and to maintain them.
- Schedule your Hydrofacial one week to 10 days before any special event
- Prebook your monthly facials before you leave the clinic
- Use professional skin care that your Viso Technician recommends for you at home
- Drink plenty of water (Always)
- Always wash your face at night
- Make sure that your home regime includes an exfoliator and SPF
- Healthy diet and exercise
- Do not smoke and limit alcohol intake
Is one Hydrofacial sufficient?
The frequency in which you should schedule an appointment for a hydrofacial varies from person to person. Typically, it is standard to recommend every 4 weeks for most people to maintain healthy skin.
It is also protocol to recommend a series of treatments spaced 2 weeks apart for certain skin conditions. Once we see results with biweekly facials, we recommend monthly maintenance.
Occasionally a client is scheduled for only one Hydrofacial. This is because they want glowing skin before a special event. Although only one or two treatments will not resolve any serious skin conditions, you will have very happy and fresh glowing skin.

A Viso Medi Spa Hydrofacial is an elevated and non-invasive skincare treatment that will involves the following basic steps, and can be further customized to every clients needs:
1. CLEANSING: The first step is to cleanse your skin of any makeup residue, dirt, and oil buildup. This is usually done using a gentle, foaming cleanser and warm towels.
2. EXFOLIATION: Next, your skin technician will use customized serums and use a special tool to gently exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells and promoting cellular turnover.
3. EXTRACTIONS: After exfoliation, the use of further serums and a vacuum-based suction tool is used to extract dirt, oil and other impurities from your pores. This can help prevent the formation of blackheads and acne.

When it comes to your home care regime after a hydrofacial, although we all have specific needs, there is one thing we all have in common. A good home care regime.
Talk to your Technician to see what is best for you. They will recommend a few items for you. You can ask them to write this down for you. Typically, they will make sure you have the following customized professional grade items in your home regime.
